SAUSAGE AND POTATOES ITALIANO

boxes (4.9 oz each) Betty Crocker® au gratin potatoes |

cup chopped green onions (8 medium) |

Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until no longer pink; drain.
In 3-quart saucepan, heat water, milk and margarine to boiling. Stir in 2 pouches potatoes and 2 pouches sauce mix. Stir in sausage and 1/2 cup green onions until well blended. Spoon potato mixture into dish.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Top with 2 tablespoons green onions.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Use 4 1/4 cups water. Heat oven to 425°F.
Quick Beef and Rice Casserole
This is one of the easiest, quickest kid-friendly recipe around. It's not particularly healthy, although if you use low-fat ground beef or turkey and have some vegetables on the side, liked cooked carrots, it's not too bad.
1 pound ground beef or turkey
2 cups rice
1 package onion soup mix
4 cups water
1 15 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
Brown the ground meat and drain if necessary. Add soup mix, rice, soup, and water and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, till rice is done.

EASY CHEESY CHICKEN, BROCCOLI AND NOODLE CASSEROLE |

1 (8 oz.) cheese whiz Combine cheese and milk mix. Toss spaghetti with butter. Combine all ingredients Mix well. Spoon into 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Stir well before serving. This is easy cheap and good. |
